Research

We have developed new methodologies for the synthesis of fused heterocyclic compounds. We have synthesized fused heterocyclic compounds like pyrimidine fused quinolones, pyridine fused benzofurans, naphthaquinone fused pyrroles using domino or multicomponent reactions. We also synthesized rapid room temperature synthesis of 3-amino-2-aroyl benzofurans and their copper-catalyzed N-arylation at room temperature without any base and ligand. All the newly synthesized products were fully characterized by NMR, IR, and HRMS spectrometry analysis. We also confirmed these by Single Crystal XRD.
